Rossi:RC:Porker:With every passing they I get weaker in the knees for an 812, the closed version. Hoping for some depreciation.
The 812 is definitely one of the cars worth getting before this whole EV revolution hits us.
Even the F12 wouldn't be wrong.
The F12 is much cheaper and the better looking car (subjectively of course).
That's true! The F12 is more beautiful and elegant than it's successor. The 812 looks very fissured to me and I don't like the "extensions" of the front lights.

nberry:This looks better.
wow, you could have not done a greater disservice to the Vette than posting that pic in this thread, it looks shockingly bad now next to the 812 ... looks like one of those pontiacs with a body kit to look like a Ferrari and everything is out of proportion and crude... I don't know, I hope its the angle of that pic or something

Of course, the proportions of the C8 Corvette are different than the Ferrari 812 Spider; one is rear mid-engined and the other has a front mounted v12. That written, the Corvette will cost a fraction of the Ferrari and at that price, is an admirable effort.

Agreed. Thank god (or hopefully?) the new Vette doesn't look this way.

CGX car nut:That is the new Corvette convertible. It was first seen in the reveal video a few months ago.
I was talking about the angle of the picture, which is very very unfortunate.

Why did they leave the ‘Rear Axle Lift’ in up position for that photo?
