Whoopsy:Hehe I actually like that little hump, it breaks up the plain contour, especially with such a big panel.
How about a big hump as in the Speedster?

Are you getting a Speedster? I don't see it as your "thing".

No I turned mine down.
I would rather find a 89 or 94 Speedster.

Gauss:I can't get used to the rear lightstrip on the GT3
+ 1 . They should drop it . It looks nice at night , but the GT3 does not need to be dressed up for a smart evening out .
Keep the car in a more basic suit fits it's purpose more .
But, Porsche is redistributing the line up . GT3 is probably getting more of a '' smart '' sports car .

A turbo Targa would get my interest but not if it’s priced close to $200,000.
I don’t know if it matters to Porsche, as a long time customer I have become very price sensitive regarding their models.

You had a 911 Targa and you didn't enjoy it, I'm curious, why this cahnge of heart? why do you think 992 Turbo targa will be any better? the only difference is more HP, but the sound will be even worse, will be heavier (less sporty) too... will be the complete opposite to the 3RS...

With the full width spoiler chopping the ends of the quarter panels there is an unfortunate triangle piece left over above the tail lights that wasn't there in the 991 models, since the turbo, GT spoilers and duck tails all flowed from the rear window down. (Perhaps I'm overthinking this and the extra panel gap is there to add to all the additional visual pollution.)

Carlos, valid points. My hope is the US Turbo Targa will have a more aggressive exhaust. Certainly the turbo will look much more aggressive than my 991 Targa. Its really hope against hope. Presently my mind set is to leave Porsche once I decide to sell the RS. Until then I'll enjoy the RS.

It will look more aggressive than the 991 Targa for sure, but it will sound worse for sure, the worst sounding water cooled 911 by far has always been the Turbo, even the 991 Carrera 3.0L turbo sounds better, and I don't see that changing in the 992, if anything it gets even worse if the 992 Carrera Coupe is any indication. I hope I'm wrong but...

If it sounds worse than what the 991 sounds like, there is no way I would buy one. You might as well buy a EV with performance parameters which more than likely on the street spank the 992 Turbo.

In the words of Porsche to me, just get a Targa GTS, since all the engines are 'turbo-ed' now.
I asked many many times for them to make a Turbo Targa. Nein!
With the aero kit we can pretty much see how the GT3 will look like , just a different bumper with the side openings and middle exhaust . Top of the back wing remains a
