Alonzo will watch this race too since his Sunday is completely open after McLaren mismanaged his Indianapolis 500 bid. https://jalopnik.com/you-have-no-idea-how-much-mclaren-blew-it-this-time-1834904247

what an exciting Grand Prix, looking at the amount of comments there speaks volume...
in the meantime, indy 500 seems to have real 'races' until the finish line. I never thought I would say this...Bit F1 is becoming a yawn...
Anyway, season is wrapped at this stage no? what you guys think?

Unless Ferrari comes up with a real miracle, ie. whatever update, I doubt that the season will bring much of a surprise. However, neglecting Mercedes as the leading team with currently (or again) the best package, the fun maybe just behind starting row 1. For example, VES always brings some lunacy to the race and with VET and LEC somehow or not fighting for who is first on the track, the season should be entertaining...and before I forget, I still do like to follow RAI...I will keep on watching...

Mercedes are n1 ..no doubt and they deserve it. Ferrari should really come back for the good of the sport as the others...the F1 need figt for the title...it cannot be closed already after 4 gp!! it is bad for the business. This year should be a very easy win for Ham again, he is the best pilot , but with no competitors...he runs alone and sometimes bottas keep up the fight...to easy for Ham..I think that he self thinks that it is annoing

Got to say, after finally having watched the GP, Hamilton is a bit of a whiner, and I was actually disappointed with LEC. First move was brilliant but he telegraphed it a few times and he should have done the same for the second. Also, it is Monaco so he should have stayed out post the damage, who knows what may have happened if it rained, so weak move in retiring in my opinion.

KMM:Just watched the Moto GP race from Mugello; now that's racing! Makes me wonder why I waste my time watching F1, hoping that it is going to somehow become more exciting or even mildly interesting ever.
+1
I stopped wasting my time with the "pretend" racing competition in F1 several seasons ago once I overcame my initial denial after so many years. There is no driver competition, you know who is going to win beforehand and it's the car that wins always, not the driver, and who ever is in that seat is fictitiously regarded as the best driver just because he looks faster than all the rest in inferior cars. It is an interesting phenomena.
