I definitly read the forum,

I also know that some of the members own it on their Carrera, I was just wondering if anybody had it on their wide bodies and if yes, if they could comment on what they think about it.

PS: As for a final decision, well I am still exploring all possiblities but I have definitly decided to keep the C4C for a while, I still have to explore its limits and then, well, we'll see, but a 996TT X50 X73 sound like a pretty serious contender 
I must say...
BTW, any chance of seing the X50 option becoming standard in a special edition, like they did with the 993TT.
I mean, next year Madame 911 is 40 years old

Well, I'm not sure the Millenium 911 was really something special. I remember the comment of a woman who said that the Millenium 911 looks like a turkish horse carriage, especially from the inside. At first I didn't realize what she meant but after giving some thought to it and looking at the Millenium's interior again and again, I started to understand. If chrome plated wheels are something you want to have on a Porsche 911...I don't know...looks like the wheels some pimps are driving over here on their SL's, Corvette's, etc. No offense taken but style has to do something with taste too. And style is a matter of taste and taste is a matter of education and personal lifestyle.
I know that some people might argue that my red Turbo looks like I didn't have the money for the Ferrari but I can live with that. And I think Millenium owners who really love their car can live with what I say too. To each his own I guess. Amen.

I, too, find the 911 millenium ugly, I don't like chrome alloys as much as I don't like painted alloys (oups
) but each individual has his own taste, well said.
My point was weather Porsche was preparing something special for the 40th birthday of the 911 in 2003.
I think they should.
