    During the Sport Cup, we in Cup cars mostly do 260km/hr before braking, and we brake a little bit later, just after the little hut.

    i drove the GT2RS on Hockenheim last year for the first time on a track and I was also so impressed by how it handled. The car is so nicely balanced and stable both in corners and under breaking especially. 

    In VLN for instance, a 991 GT3 Cup on slick tires paired with a good driver takes the right at Flugplatz at 200kmh. Lars Kern took it going 197kmh with a much heavier GT2RS on street tires... Thats just unbelievable.

    u mean the telephone booth on the left? ;) i guess that would be a little too late for the the excess speed of the GT2RS. I also went off the throttle shortly when overtaking the Ferrari. I guess it could ve done bit over 280kmh there. But the owner sat next to me and it was the only flying lap i did that day...;)

    Yeah, that marshal booth on the left. We in Cup cars uses that as our brake marker. 

    But I can see how that will not be possible with the GT2RS, it goes much faster and does't have as good brakes as the Cup car and without the traction of slicks.

    When I lapped the Nurburgring GP circuit which I raced in, I had to unlearn all my Cup car markers and sensation of cornering speed when in the GT2RS. 

    That's some very good driving, and you aren't even pushing it yet, you didn't use any curbs Smiley

    yeah very true. obviously the Cup car still has some advantages over the street car on track..

    thanks for the flowers, indeed i wasnt pushing it too hard and didnt throw it over all curbs but it was still a rather quick cruise..;)

    really nice one! except the one showcar i sat in at Porsche Exclusive in Stuttgart, I have not seen a Weissach Pack GT2RS with the carbon piece on the steering wheel as they should all have...
