Rossi:List price of the F8 Threesome in Germany: a tad below 230k including VAT.
and with that you get two cheap looking plastic vents in the cockpit surrounding a boring screen and a nice rev counter . That's it . Price is getting very good, but it has to be taken from somewhere .
A GT3 RS is now about the same price !
Oh ... and the F8 is only 0.1 sec faster to 100 km/h then a Tesla X

Mithras:964C2:.....the rear wheel opening looks out of proportion
That's what bugs me too. The wheel looks too far forward and the car looks too high. the wheel also seems too small. Not Prius bad but...
this is a classical ferrari issue-already the 430 and 458 had the same visual problem.

Very competitive if you ask me...
Not sure however how long it is going to take to actually get a car with limited options because Ferrari (or their dealers) has a history of preferring to sell fully optioned cars to customers.

the-missile:Is it wider than the 488?
because the 488 is already a seriously wide footprint on the road.
I don't know if the comparison photos are 1:1...but it seems that the F8 Tributo rear in that photo is a bit larger than the 488 GTB, so the scale may not be accurate.

Rossi:AFAIK the F8 is about 5 cm longer and 3 cm wider compared to the 488.
Interesting, thanks.

crayphile:Rossi:AFAIK the F8 is about 5 cm longer and 3 cm wider compared to the 488.
But the steering wheel is thinner!
And smaller in diameter.

JEANTET:Dislike it at first , now design is growing fast on me !
am i subjective because of Ferrari ?
Funny thing, it's the other way round with me. At first I thought the front is an improvement (never liked what they did to the rear with the F8), but now I'm not even sure if this jagged front is any better than the perhaps a bit bland front of the 488.
Side note: Have you seen Harry Metcalfe's report from Geneva? At the end he visits the Ferrar stand and talks about the F8. There he says the F8's engie features a gas particulate filter. Can anybody confirm this?
