The proportions are rather crazy. On some angles it looks incredible, some not so much. Regardless I commend Bugatti for putting forward a car that looks so "concept" in appearance and details, good job.

Yes, I have to say that the details look quite good up close but the overall layout of the car... don’t know what to say. I actually expected stronger reactions on this forum.

It's actually the same as the regular Chiron.

The regular Chiron already had 6 exhaust tips, you see the 4 in groups of 2, and there is 2 more on each side dumping into the diffuser.

All 6 came from basically one muffler.

This car just skip the 2 downward firing ones and points them straight back.

I like the Divo much more, especially because it is also much cheaper... (not that I can afford the base model Chiron 😛).

Personally, I find these variants too overdone and not as elegant as the regular version which is more in line with the philosophy and base design of this car so these versions look like tuner jobs for the sake of standing out more but doing it in a bad way, piling design elements over every nook and cranny.

Matter of taste I guess...I like both in a way or another (the La Voiture Noire is more of a statement but an interesting one) but the Divo is a more sporty variation of the Chiron original design, which looks a bit too elegant to me (this could be said about the La Voiture Noire as well but with a twist Smiley ). Since I cannot afford any of these three though... Smiley Smiley I would compare the Chiron with the GT3 and the Divo with the GT3 RS.

It looks like they have put paint on the tire. Am I seeing that right? Seems odd, because the wheel is well detailed and intricate, did it really need "more"?

It so hard to judge proportions on these cars without seeing them in person.

Someone I know saw the Divo at a private presentation and he claims that the car is just stunning in person.

I don't know if this is paint or some sort of colored vulcanization, maybe a new option available from Michelin for specific cars? Probably expensive as hell if it can be executed in the car's color? Smiley

If it is just paint for the sole purpose to make the wheels look better in photographs, this is silly.

That tire wheel combination is probably a very special process as the wheel itself appears to be manufactured using a 3D or additive machining process for the intricate details. It is, too, doubtful that that is simply paint on the tire sidewall as it would quickly peel away from use. There must be another process being employed that adds color to select sections of the sidewall with these tires being unique to this particular car.

My guess, its something that is applied to the tire after they are mounted on the wheel. Otherwise it would get scuffed/damaged while being mounted and it would be very hard to get them to line up.

Maybe its a raised surface with some aero benefit [completely made that up].

Wish there was more technical articles on these cars. All the JWW/Shmee/etc, ever get into that stuff. As an example, I've never seen anyone compare the centerlock mechanism of one of the latest hypercars vs Porsche.

Looks like a Batman’esque sort of design with zero three quarter and rear ward visibility, sure there may be people that buy this incl Ferdinand Piech, but have to think that everyone else but Piech is buying it for the flash factor... now you just need a gold painted special edition to take the price up even more....
