Ok, I would not have thought about Porsche Second skin as the logical choice for a change of color - if I may ask, you surely have done a research on possible options elsewhere as my first feeling would be that Porsche Second Skin would be way more expensive then others ? 
And, secondly, a change in color or a change in design as well ? Interesting project.

SecondSkin of Porsche is compared to other first class companies not more expensive, but the main advantage is, that a wrap from another company is not accepted by Porsche´s warranty.

ooooooooookay, did not think about warranty, since 3M tells each and everybody that their stuff can be removed without any damages to the paint...looking forward to seeing pics etc. ... btw., if you need a little "GTS" sticker to perfect your wrapping (!) - very rare, very exclusive, very very very hard to come by (was in a Porsche centre personalized mailing on the new Cayman GTS 4.0 I received last weekend...), let me know...

(I´m just a customer of secondskin and will report my experience - this is no ad)
I will send more detailed pics over the next weeks - from my first impression: The quality is really top - you can´t see anything from my GT-Silver - even with open doors - amazing. Just inside the trunk and the engine lid, you have a chance to see the old color.
This is not a quick foil-job for some color fun - their work is really serious...AND you have no problems with the Porsche factory warranty oder the extended warranty.
Total price was 4K€ - this is the base price, if you don´t want any special design.

Can you tell it is a plastic cover in real life ?
and, further any 3M, xpel or whatever on your car ?
Would turn into a sad story if stone chips ruined this great job...I have 3M covering the front completely and then on top the stripes were applied, where I already have some marks...

This is just like any other company doing foil job on a car. But they do the complete job, like covering the door sill and stuff.
4 days actually seems quick for a custom job. Others that foil cars using pre-cut templates normally takes around 2-3.
The price is also inline with other 3rd party too.

I have seen a lot of bad wraps over the last years...compared, this quality is top.
But yes, if you have good eyes and you are really close to the car...it is different to paint...the structure.
The best thing would be to put an xpel foil for protection over it, but wonˋt do it.

it does look like a very very good job though.

Correct...that was the reason for me to put xpel on the new car last year...the first time in my life on any car.
What happend? The car was hit from stones and rubber at the track and the paint was chipped under the foil...
For the xpel-money I could have painted the hood and the bumber.
From now on the car has to live with battle injuries...

Thanks for telling...hmmm, I have 3M on the front and I have (not yet) detected any chips so far...(Currently, I doubt that my toy will see any track this year though I have all planned starting in July only). Anyway, as I said previously: Enjoy ! So, what is next ? Pepita seats , which I do like by the way ?

Thanks for the feedback, the car looks great. Just came across a Boxster Spyder in Irish Green as well. Have to say, like it much more on the 991 than the 981.
On the closeup shot, one can see the "orange peel" of the wrap, nonetheless the amount of gloss and the covered parts such as the door sills make it convincing. Considering that, the price is reasonably priced in comparison to the competitors.
