The V10 is known for delivering less than the factory claim but 580 would definitely not be OK. Are they sure they did the measurements right? Sometimes they enter the wrong parameters (correction factors) when they do dyno testing.

The car tested in Sport Auto only had 608 hp (I think). The car tested in AUTOBILD Sports cars had over 640 hp.

Ah, OK...makes sense now.

The V10 is bulletproof...unless the driver doesn't run it in properly and/or revs too high when cold.

I remember "young" Huracan Performante driven on the track at 800 or 1000 km, which is absolutely insane.

My car runs pretty well but people need to know that the strength of the Performante lies in the 0-200 kph range.

Two weeks ago, I had a friend in a 991.2 GT3 driving side by side with me and from 60 to 180 kph I moved away slowly but steadily but in the 200 to 280 kph speed range, he was falling back very very slowly, which surprised us both.

You should have seen the GT2 RS in the same speed range (200-280), he moved away quite fast.

For the Autobahn, a 991.2 Turbo S, GT2 RS or Aventador are the better choices.

So after almost 7.000 Km in 2019 - 3 track days and al lot of alpine roads in Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, the Touring goes to winter sleep.

The car (incl. Liteblox-battery) worked flawless and the cup2s are good for one more day on the track.

After a difficult start to the season, because of my disc prolapse, it worked out pretty well.

Last car-event for this year: In November I will be at Zuffenhausen again for the delivery of a friends‘s PTS-Speedster.

May be my last time at the delivery hall at Werk1, because I really think, that all my future Porsches are already produced...

Project for 2020 - I‘m thinking about a new color for the car with the help of Porsche‘s own „Second-Skin-Team“.

Red Nipple-GT3 still sleeps in the garage. I got a very nice gift to my feared 50. birthday - my friends took me to Austria for an ice driving event with the European Speed Club.

I could drive 718, 991 T, GT3, 992 and McLarens on ice with spike-tyres...an absolutely fantastic day.

At the end I received 2. place overall at the Race of Champions...in a McLaren... smiley

It was a first time for me in these cars...they were always on my Life-bucket-list, but I feared liability and costs.

The handling was very forgiving, but the whole experience is lacking emotions...IMO, even the 992 has more emotions compared to these cars, and the built quality is much better.

Again, a fantastic experience.

That looks like a lot of fun ! I'll be in Austria tomorrow and try to drift my Turbo. Did something similar with a 4WD 911 some time ago and the front differential overheated pretty quickly. Hopefully an instructor can explain how this is done properly :)

Meanwhile I bought an old aircooled to have some fun in my garage during the shutdown.

After the „Luftgekühlt“ event at Zell am See I had to have another one...after some searching I found a 1994 993 in the rare color Oakgreen and Sherwood full leather from a gentleman who drove it during the last 20 years.

Some things have to be changed on the car, but this is part of the fun...correct wheels just arrived in time.

Gotta love the 993. You don't see too many around these days. The typical Dutch porsche customer seems to be either the "latest&greatest" type, or the "full on classic" type, so 993's have become increasingly rare on the streets.

Blue & Gnil, you just have to get your green machines together for a nice photoshoot one day! wink
