Have to say though, Iain is right.I would say the only transition at Lamborghini that was more coherent with a facelift was from the Gallardo to the LP 560, I find it much more appealing than the first generation. Everything else, be it Murcielago, Aventador or Huracan, doesn’t become prettier or harmonious with the facelift.

It's a well established Lamborghini trait where the initial design is the purest/cleanest in terms of flowing design with the mid life refresh introducing more revisions that are there more to differentiate the update than anything else.I don't know what is worse: introducing a Gen. 1 model with deliberate design flaws so you can fix them with the mid-life update (the Porsche way), or doing a midlife update with unnecessary changes just to differentiate the updated model from the original one (the Lamborghini way)...
No problem there if you own a second generation Porsche and a first generation Lamborghini.

Agree on the LP 560 looking better than the very first Gallardo. But the LP 560 had a facelift itself in 2012, where they screwed it up again.

True as well. After all the LP560 was a pretty big update already, much more than just a facelift. You do have a point in that the following facelift didn’t improve the car as well.
The LP was effectively the type of transition Porsche make when making a “new” model on an existing platform i.e. 996 to 997, 991 to 992. The mid cycle refresh of the original Gallardo came in 2006 but centred around mechanical updates instead of styling revisions.

For the coupe at least the seat can recline more to accommodate, Spyder don't have such luxury.
The seat will have to be lowered quite a bit, but there isn't that much room under the seat either.

This was actually a major "fix", they completely re-designed the whole seating "setup". Too many complaints from customers, so they had to do something about it. Thank god I'm not that tall...or big.

Of course I approve, the Aventador is way too heavy for this performance class, incl. the SVJ. The Performante is borderline when it comes to weight but I think everything up to 1600 kg is considered "industry standard" in this class nowadays, as sad as this is.
The class leader when it comes to weight is McLaren. Porsche also does a good job with their GT models.
The Aventador has another "issue": It is way too big. It is an impressive piece of car and I love it but for the money it costs, Lambo urgently needs to drop the weight by at least 100 kg.

No, not me.
AWD is great but not so great if you don't have enough ground clearance. 
One reason I chose the E63 S as a family car: AWD and an air suspension which can be raised by up to 40 mm (up to 100 kph, which can be pretty useful on snow).
I was supposed to go to a Lambo event in Saalfelden next week, driving a Huracan Spyder and the Urus but I can't (business). 
Maybe not a bad thing, considering the masses of snow there right now.

Stupidity never dies... 
Today, we had so much snow that I had to leave the C63 Cab in the garage, drove with my E63 instead. No problem here since you can raise the chassis by 30-40 mm. Great winter car, no traction issues at all. Breaking is quite OK for it's weight as well. My wife sent me to clean the space in front of our garage because there was so much snow in the morning and I just took out the Range Rover, drove a bit forth and back and the space in front of the garage was flattened. My wife says I am a lazy genius. Helped the older neighbors to clean their boardwalk though (legal requirement in Germany, if someone falls, you are liable), wasn't easy since I was already dressed for the office but I did a good deed today (now waiting for the blowback ).
With a Performante in this snow (not even close what is going on in the mountains...)? I'd have to be an idiot.

Of course... I like the Geissens and the Kardashians for their business successes. Would also love to meet their managers and have a chat with them, they must be geniuses. Their fans? Different story. Never understood the appeal.

My son actually noticed something very interesting about the 991.2 GT2 RS and Huracan Performante record runs on the Nordschleife:
As you can actually see in this comparison video, the Performante is always a tiny bit faster and ahead of the GT2 RS...until the last long straight when the GT2 RS catches up and wins almost five seconds or so over the Performamte due to a much higher speed on the straight.
I found this observation to be very interesting...
