Kobalt:I love these crazy and maybe a bit silly cars!
We need this in a world of mainstream.
They make no sense but does that matter?

If you have the money, always go for the fun.
You will regret it if you don't and we cannot take our money to the grave.

nberry:It's being reported that the car has serious reliability and drivability problems and there is a question whether it will be produced. Given AM tenuous financial problems, this car may be on the cutting block.
Do you have a source for that?

SSO.:CGX car nut:Very interested in seeing what Vettel does in this car and if it makes him more competitive against Verstappen and Hamilton.
Do you think Aston Point will treat/allow Vettel to be the #1 driver?
Vettel will constantly need to prove himself to retain the Nbr. 1 driver position over Stroll. Lawrence Stroll is a successful businessman and realizes that winning valuable points is more important than promoting his son’s career. The outcome of Aston Martin is now predicated on doing well in Formula One.

If that was true, he wouldn't have his son in the car. It would be Hulkenberg

CGX car nut:The question you had posed was first driver, not does Stroll belong on the team. He remains on the team until he costs too much and that could happen this season.
Baby Stroll will never cost too much, heck daddy Stroll already spent hundreds of millions just to make kiddo a "F1" driver.

nberry:On the road, the car looks silly. It just doesn't belong on a public street.
Doesn't look any more inappropriate than forthcoming 992 GT3 RS from spy photos...

Looks exactly as it is, like a street legal racing car... noting silly about that IMO, sure the natural place for this car is the race circuit, but still I think this is one of the most if not the most special looking car for the road. And I am sure that tis car will set a new benchmark for street legal cars. LOVE IT
Your comments about vehicle servicing were very interesting as well. I have no idea where USA owners get their Paganis, Koenigseggs, and SCGs serviced now. Can you just take a Pagani to an MB dealer since it has an AMG Powertrain ? Will an owner be able to have a Valkyrie serviced at a typical AM dealer ? This issue definitely adds a complex dimension to ownership far beyond that of a Ferrari or Porsche.

I am quite sure that AM will have a solution for this problem,... and I am also sure that those cars will not be driving that much (unfortunately). Buyers of such cars usually have already quite full garages with the best of the best.
