Eric, the year is not over! Autumn is the nicest time to go to the Nordschleife in my opinion, I'm certainly still going. Spa and Dijon as well if I find the time.

Gnil:On the way back we stoped at SuperDarius' s place near Milano . Met his big dog
He took us to the usual good local restaurant . We all had a nice car chat , and of course discussing the RT discussions
I went back through the Saint Bernard pass . Was a beautiful day with driving close to 700 km .

Plus, next August I have a 3 week cruise planned. So, the next 12 months is solid for me but I really want to get over to meet you all even if I just watch you guys go around in circles because you lot will spank me, never had track experience so I will poodle around until I learn what’s what

You don't need to be a track junkie to enjoy a few laps . Don't get impressed by our hairy chests , we are only bragging on the forum, easy to do that !

inside there will be distinctive touches
and the most interesting is the non visible part which is chassis (carbon fiber sway bars and other elements)
if possible, ask for Magnesium wheels

The base bonnet and back wing are also carbon ...... only difference it is painted without WP
The base roof is magnesium , so not bad either .
But if you want to show of some carbon you need to tick WP
On the chassis , only two elements , the sway bars and ( don't know it is called ) a piece that is between the wheel and the upper chassis .
Also carbon cover on steering wheel ( if it ever comes 
) should be ready by Feb 2019
Are you taking the cage ? If you take the WP you can have the magnesium cage , but can also specs the race homologated steel cage .
Worth the money , most probably not ! Makes the car look a bit different and special , that's it . No gain in weight ( hardly )

Cage is titanium with WP.
Every outside part is carbon but painted, I didn’t express myself correctly.
WP only expose it and magnesium roof becomes lighter exposed carbon fiber.
I would not spec an RS without it...tbh
RS is top of food chain and deserves special treatment.

Sun is taking the cage, but dealer will remove and stack it, so the rear space is available for groceriesFolding buckets too. Given as you say the base roof is mag. and bonnet and wing are carbon, thats enough for Sun. Showing carbon is not his thing, besides his car is black
Missile - as lovely a lightweight idea as the mag wheels are -- recall the pix of the bottom-out damage on Sun's GT3 - Mag wheels would break somewhere Way Back In the South Island and Sun would be fkd.... Nice strong Porsche wheels only way to go

Mate I am not sure that I would go for this option. Still no Magnesium Wheels and not the proper bonnet. Also I think the person that buys this option is looking for the long term return and probably becomes a garage car only which is not what you are about. I think if you could get the full package then maybe but we can’t so I wouldn’t.

They are:
The difference to the Weissach packages on the 911 GT2 RS (and the ones that are on Stop Order for the 911 GT3 RS) is instead of the having the Front lid with carbon-weave finish they have a Front lid in carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) painted in exterior colour
The Internet Car Configurator has been updated with these new options.
