Given the fact that we're seeing now spy videos of the 992 GT3, it looks as if it could indeed come out as early as Geneva 2020.

so 2020 is right.
but to me (and the discussion I got), this look like communication crap again. that engine was supposed to be there for a long time as GT department is a success due to the crap engine range proposed on the regular 911.
now, and since the past few weeks (summer shutdown), nobody is able to tell you if this engine will stay in this car or not. for record, this engine is on test since july and was decided before may...long time ago.
The reason is the homologation process. you can see 992 being delayed for that reason and the rest of the range which is almost impossible to order except few cars...the decision is not from this team which is a pure petrolhead team but from above and the success and the cost to keep emotion against profit. we all know the answer...enjoy what you can see now, it is not sealed in the marble yet and this video doesn't guarantee you to see NA engine in 18 months.
