Paulo_Rangel_Melo:Is it me or these LED´s look unfinished?
Also, the active air vents/flaps are in diferent positions in the 2 photos

It is quite obvious that the LED strip extends more to the left on the photographs but are partially concealed by a black coating. The movable radiator strakes look okay.

Thought so!!!!
I also think the LED is bigger!!!!
My friend CGX car nut, i´m here on Rennteam for 15 years.
This 911 (992) is is being the most "pain in the ass" 911 ever!!!

Paulo_Rangel_Melo:Apparently. on the 20th of September off 2018, all roads went to a Gas Station in Los Angeles.

Top Photo : It can clearly be seen that the two "fangs" in body color in the front grill is just body color tape that will come off and the front grill will be all black. To my eyes, a far better proposition than those two body colored "fangs". Autocar has it wrong.
Bottom Photo: It seems that the body color strip in between the rear window and the rear grill is also body colored tape. It will also come off and the area will be black. Here I am less confident about the look. I'll have to see it to pass judgement.

Sorry....
If you had access to my statistics here on the forum you would know that everytime a new 911 (or any other Porsche) comes arround i go "insane"
Taycan/Mission E forum on the next few months should be "funny"!!!
Give me a break, I live in an Island (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%A3o_Miguel_Island) where the most recent 911 is a 991 MY12 C2 Cabrio and the oldest/elder is a 1970 911 T disguised as an RS (Bad RS conversion one by the way).
Here on the Island some Cayenne´s and a lot of Boxster´s (I´m not the kind of guy that thinks that paying 70.000 Euros (in Portugal for Boxster) makes you a poor guy) or gives you the that horrible nickname "Porsche´s Poor".
I LOVE the 928 by the way!!!!
Everytime i need to drive a 911 (and i´m a huge fan of the air cooled´s 911) i need to sit my white ass on a plain and take a 2 hour flight to Mainland Portugal where my friends can borrow me a car!!!! Specially a 964 WTL Cabrio.
So, talking to you guys here on Rennteam (and i know i can be an ASS and somestimes make some "out of space comments) makes me Happy!!! 15 Years Happy talking with you guys about something that I (WE) Love!!!
Sorry for my "Very Sappy" Post!!!
Regards.

Ferdie:I am surprised how strong that red looks, very bold. Is that a new metallic red or is it solely due to the lighting conditions and camera settings?
Looks like the combination of Carmine red mixed with a blue hue from low exterior lighting conditions but hard to tell from photos

Looks like the rbest d from red bottom shoes. Wife would love that. My guess is pictures by the end of the month. It has always been this way. Someone pointed out Frankfurt in September. I was born in Wiesbaden in late September 1963 practically alongside the 911. New models always come out on my birthday. That’s a fact. Cheers
911tts:And in Hannover, not in Frankfurt
We can do that all day long, can we?
Someone going to be in Paris? I was thinking about going but wife isn't too fond of it.

Gauss:I was planning on going. However, only if the 992 will be there.
Very likely...but things can still change (WLTP is a bitch...).

Autocar reporting that the 992 will make its debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/2019-porsche-911

I was thinking the same thing. The one thing you can rely on with a new Porsche model is that it will look similar to the previous model. Nothing to get excited about.
Being adventurous can be risky but routine is lethal.
The Red car seems to have those new optional brakes with white calipers (Tungsten Carbide coating on rotors, I think)
