    If you feel that 997 GT2 do nothave shortcomings or minor flaws... Then OK! Enjoy it!

    It is probably the second best sportscar today on the market IMHO. The best one is IMHO Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

    The F430 Scuderia is the most dedicated/hard core production sports car, on an emotional level. However, its times on both NBR and Hockenheim, according to the SA at least, are not commensurate with how much you pay for the privilege. (and not only in the initial price but also servicing,maintenance and cost of parts).

    Of course the ferraristi will say that there are other intangibles to tip the balance like the feel of the car, the noise and the sense of occasion that this car generates. Fair enough! But like everything else in life there are two sides to any situation.

    Funnily, the pros and cons of the Scuderia - GT2 comparison are similar, in a way to the Porsche - GT-R debate.

    Took a closer look at the lp560 few weeks ago and started to think of getting one early 2010

    Do we have any reviews on the steel vs CC brakes ? magazines are not happy with the brakes at all, do we have any owners on RT ?

    My fav stock brake upto this date is PCCB 380mm from my 997 GT2

    The perfect color

    Bad bits? As ever, it’s the brakes that spoil the Balboni’s party. I can’t see how the standard steel set-up could be worse to use than the carbon discs, which give you nothing up top, a dead mid-travel and then immense sudden power, which the nose reacts to by darting and weaving.

    I don't know...you have to test it...on lp560 spyder review the problem seemed to be almost solved....
