I'm still #11 for the CTS-V as a daily drive too but if S4 and Caddy will be close price wise I think I go with the Caddy for a daily drive.

Wow, the CTS-V is sold out? or wait-listed over there?? In this economy.. I personally love the CTS-V. Caddy is doing extremely well in these hard times.

However, the extra gear in the seven-speed 'box means an extra change is needed to reach 62mph, dropping the benchmark sprint time to 5.3 seconds.

I was thinking about a S4 for a daily drive but was wondering if there is a RS4 in the line I'd wait for that.

Indeed, how can you say no to 550 hp and a f**ing mountain of torque
Besides, once you start loading all the options (DSG, Sport diff, Drive Select, radar cruisecontrol.....) the S4 looks like it will be pretty expensive.

Just for comparison CTS-V base price in Germany is Euro 74990. New S4 base price is Euro 50950. So, even with full options S4 is about Euro 15K cheaper in Germany then CTS-V, not to talk about resale value of Caddy in EU...
