    I pardon the pun. (The thieves also followed the break-in procedure)

    something tells me the car has done nothing but launch control starts for the last few days and the rev limits are out the window.

    In all seriousness ( yes I can be ), it would not be the same if you did get it back now..

    They eff up the ownership if it was returned, for me it would anyway.

    Keeping up the serious note. Can we really start that petition to Porsche asking for another allocation? Seems so unfair that this is happening and there's no way you can end up enjoying the car.

    Sad about your car .  Lesson learned , drive the car as you stole it , right from delivery  angry

    I agree with Throt . Maybe it s better it is now gone , because if you would get it back , you probably would never feel so confident with the car anymore , not knowing how the engine got treated ..... probably max rev with cold engine surprise

    I hope you get all your money back from the insurance ... and that by the beginning of next season you have a new ride .

    My kids have no problem whatsoever fitting in the bak seat of my Bentley GT (& its a coupe), they are 16 & 9. In the Porsche 911 turbo S, the son (older) doesn't fit & the daughter fits but she always says "Daddy lets take the Bentley" Smiley

    I'm thinking the same, the ultra sticky tires of the GT2 and GTR would be a significant advantage. Don't know what tires the other two had.

    He said all cars used Cup2. Not sure if it was standard Cup2 or specific ones like ZP/R etc.

    I like the new Ford GT a lot (engine choice maybe not that much), it sounds alright, it looks very good, it has street presence and performance is pretty good (yes, I think the tires gave the GT2 RS a significant advantage) but Ford is just nuts if they think this car is worth more than 200k. Seriously.

    The limited production may have given the Ford GT some sort of positive reputation but let's be real here, it isn't worth the money Ford is asking. Not even close.

    In the video they went out of their way to explain the perceived poor performance of the Ford. In short, they stated the car was not designed for the track it was tested on. The 2RS had the highest hp and was expected to have the best time. Had it not, that would have been the story.

    FWIW, I would take the Ford over the 2RS in a heart beat.

    Other relatively quick cars are the Audi TT RS and the Honda Accord, which was faster at several points than the Audi RS3.  While the Audi is a couple of seconds slower than the Cayman GTS it remains a more all season usable car than the Porsche and it has the handicap of a compromised platform of the Golf, not a mid engine performance platform.  For all around high performance daily driving it is a hard package to beat.
