I'm pleased with Zymol, the "Glasur" series wax is Porsche specific.However, I feel their car wash detergent is way overpriced. I use Meguiar's "tech wash". Best to buy Zymol kit to get started, includes a "cleaner" to be used prior to waxing. If your finish is not silky smooth to the touch, you will want to clean with a clay bar prior to waxing.Microfiber towels work best for wax removal and polishing.Good luck with the cab, sounds awesome!

I like Griot's Best In Show liquid carnauba wax. It goes on easily. Comes off without much trouble.
If you keep the car outside during the day, parked while at work or whatever, drive in a lot of bad weather maybe better to use a polymer "wax" instead of a carnauba wax.
C wax is more fragile and requires more applications.

Always remember, 95% of good detailing and care is the human being doing the labor, 5% is the products...
I'll take a $5 can of Simoniz in the hands of a great detailer WAY BEFORE I'd go for a $50 container of boutique south-saharan Yak wax in the hands of a ham-fisted Schmoe, any day!!!
