2011 Acura NSX
Just noticed this rendering from MotorA on the upcoming NSX. A few observations:
- seems closer to 911 size than GT-R - likely with similarly useful (useless?) rear seats
- likely close to 911TT weight as well given AWD
- front mid-engine layout should give good wt. distribution and handling
- should get fewer comments that it is ugly than GT-R... still Japanese but with some grace to the styling
- high revving V-10 confirmed - not likely to be a torque-beast
All in all could be a very interesting sports-GT that much more closely targets the 911 niche - price unknown but I would expect C4S type prices. Sad to see that the NSX history of mid-engine cars will end, but commercial realities and the success of Porsche in dominating the usable sports-GT market must be a factor.
AUM - perhaps this may be more to your liking than the GT-R?? N-ring time will presumably surface soon.
