    Agree 100% . The wide grin WE get when we are behind the wheel on an exhilirating drive is the way EVERYONE feels on a boat ,esp when you look towards all the " shorebirds " in their cars !

    sad to hear this nick ... but at least you are doing what you feel is right, and your reasons are indeed good. I hope it turns out great for you during the process of actually selling and letting go.

    i still hope the big bites again, but for now go with you gut. Sports car are all about how they make you feel, nothing more, and if the 430 isnt doing it for you then by all means move on.

    (Sigh) you missed the point. Other than a track, there really is no place to make use of a high performance cars. As a result, many including myself exercise the car on public roads. Though we all think of our self as excellent drivers, we cannot assume that is the case with the cars around us.

    The laws and speed monitoring are stacked against excessive speed driving. To enjoy a high performance car requires high speed. Otherwise, a Miata will do.

    Hey Nick - interesting decision - all that matters is that you're making the decision that's right for you for the right reasons Everyone needs a change once in a while - I'm sure once something new reignites your interest, you'll be back owning/driving another sports car. Guys who like high performance cars never IMHO lose that passion. I entirely agree with Carlos's point: the kind of driving you do and where you do it play a huge part in the kind of enjoyment you will derive. It's essential to mix things up to keep it fresh
