I was actually at Porsche in Stuttgart yesterday and for the first time I was confirmed that a new 997 GT3 will come out end of next year. However, apparently it will NOT be offered with PDK...
This was confirmed by the same people who told me several months ago that the C4 models will get the reflector stripe in the back...

In summer a Porsche test driver told me the same. No PDK in the GT3 FOR THE MOMENT

I dont know but if u ask me I totally agree with that decision cause i coulnt picture an auto / PDK shifter and the tiptronic like buttons in a GT3...IMO it would just take away soo much GT3 feeling if one could just set it in D and cruise off..
If its not going to be a long sequential lever in the middle they better stick to the perfectly well working stick. thats at least what i am hoping for...

A few comments on PDK...
* PDK gearbox engineered to fit the new A91 engine block
* PDK gearbox will be available in two versions: 450Nm and 700Nm
* PDK gearbox is "suited for higher speeds of up to 8,000 revolutions"
...whereas the GT3 uses an awesome GT1-based engine block, which links up to a six-speed manual gearbox (derived from the 996 GT3 Cup gearbox) with interchangeable gear ratios, steel synchroniser rings and race-proven at well above 8000rpm!
