    Re: 997TT Facelift

    That is so hot!!

    Got to love those ceramics

    Re: 997TT Facelift

Yes. Even if you notice some of the Boxsters and Caymans have the roll cage in them.

    Re: 997TT Facelift

I guess Nissan pissed off Porsche . They'll show it to them what TT is all about.

    Re: 997TT Facelift

That is smoking hot!!!! What timing is this car? Is it the ones stuck in port or is this a pic of a future TT

It seems that the 997TT FL will be on sale even before the launch of the GTR (in Germany). That illustrates what a theoretical discussion the Nissan fans are leading. Comparing apples with apples would be a much better idea...

    Re: 997TT Facelift

Why every time a "new" Turbo is comming,i whant one??

There is a doctor that can help me?

Timing wouldn't be representative. A car with a roll cage will be much stiffer and handle better than if you took it out.

    This is a MY10 car not a MY09 one.

    Re: 997TT Facelift

Stupid "facelift!" I mean now what?

Since the back bumper is all they messed with I feel "compelled" just to buy some new tailights and a back bumper and "facelift" my own Turbo.

IOW, if they messed with front also, I'd say forget my own DIY facelift because it's too involved (it activated my laziness factor).

Doesn't Porsche they know how much they mess with their customer's brains by these lemming-like facelifts???!!

Nah..., not really mad..., just kidding (kinda).

Do you have a GREAT NEED for better fuel ecomony?

I personally can't see the facelift car being worth $$,$$$ more (in depreciation trade-in and model year price increases).

It will certainly have less power/torque and sound worse than my current 997 and I doubt it will have the good Bilstein damptronics so (S)PASM will still be lacking.

ie. I would be vastly downgrading if I traded in

    sure,no..

i DON'T WHANT to change my car, first becouse is a record that now is TWO years old and is here again,it is a lot of time that i'm not able to stay with a car for more then 14/15 months ,second becouse it has only 19.000kms on the speedo, and third becouse every time i start it up i love the sound of my CG exhaust and i can't live without...

    BUT

I know myself...and when this restyled Turbo will be on sale i know that it will be very difficult to don't make the bad thing to sell mine, and loose a lot of money to buy a new car that is near to be the same of my current one.. ,maybe also of the same colour..

the cause is the same disease that has got also Ron

time will tell, hope to have no money like now to can change the car

Every current Porsche costumer do not need another therapy from Dr.Wiedeking...

...or his end of the fiscal year bonus will become bigger and bigger.

right...Dr.Wiedeking at least need to make me a great present, then i can think to make his therapy or not(again)

    Re: 997TT Facelift

Ha ha. So funny -- me too. My heart skips a beat whenever I see any new Porsche. 997, Turbo, GT3... does NOT matter.

I can't help it; I got the Porschetitis in a bad, bad, way.

I love those pics, looks hot hot hot!

    But they need bigger wings!!!!

    Re: 997TT Facelift

Interesting how the 'bad talk' about the loss of the GT1 block has sort of vanished with the intro of these pictures....

    Re: 997TT Facelift

let's move on the game Porsche, the new TT look fast!

Not vanished but rather on the back burner.

I'm waiting for the new engines to start failing.

+1. With a few melted rear light/bumper parts as the only differences, this must be the 997.0002 TT

just wait guys, im almost positive they just didn't put the new bumper on yet

Afterall, Form doesn't follow function anymore, so putting the new inlets on the test mule doesn't matter in testing performance. I'm sure it'll be 0.1 second faster somehow. IT's a beautiful thing really!

    Re: 997TT Facelift

    nono..
the only thing that will change outside will be the rear bumper and tail lights, and the bigger mirrors...

if my source is not wrong it seems that the two grille(left and right) of the front bumper will be painted in the same colour of the body..

    this is all

    Re: 997TT Facelift

    so nice
