Issue 334 (October/November 2008) of Christophorus has advertisements for no fewer than 16 wristwatches in just 1 magazine. Talk about excessive?

Christophorus and it's ilk are merely demonstrations for targeted advertising.
The articles, if you can even call them that, are thinly disguised, overly written/thesaurus-processed/translated regurgitations of press-releases.
Then again, aren't most magazines everywhere? That said, I have to say that I prefer UK CAR/EVO/GQ/Economist/etc over their USA equivalents.

Uh Oh! You know what that means, right? We better buy more watches. Otherwise our complimentary subscriptions might end.

Way back when when I had a Boxster I had to pay for the subscription. After I got my 997S they stopped sending renew notifications and the magazine never stopped coming. I guess you do get something for "free" from Porsche!

Well, I keep getting renewal invoices to continue my Christophorus subscription. I have always been a little miffed that after buying plenty of new Porsches over the last 35 years, including a Carrera GT, that Porsche still wants money from me to deliver factory promo materials.

If Christophorus is so cool and avant-garde why don't they have diamond studded us$15K versions of these?
