19 in Carrera Sport Wheels with Arctic Silver-Pics

I'm considering upgrading my wheels to the Carrera Sport ones. However, my 987S is Silver and I would appreciate if anyone could post some pics of these wheels (not the car configurator ones-thanks) on a Silver Boxster?

I know they look great on dark colors, but because they are painted grey, I'm worried they may just look dirty on an arctic silver.

AFAIK, Carrera Sport wheels are not painted grey - they are painted in GT Silver so they should look just a little darker than Arctic Silver.

My opinion? It should look great

Brilliant, Thanks Guys....faster replies than I thought

what do you think of it?
The wheels are quite a bit darker aren't they?.

Are they GT Silver..they look darker than that.

Will need to see some more pics I think.I'm torn between Sport Designs and these..but I am a bit of a compulsive type and like my wheels to be shiny and clean.

Maybe the painted part is putting me off a little. But the wheel itself is very, very nice indeed.

Yes, they are darker than the color of the paint, but look how they match the side intake and the built-in roll bar. I think that it provides some very nice contrast to the silver paint as well, but you should be the ultimate judge.

I think it would look better on a Darker coloured car, but even on Arctic they don't look bad at all.

i think it looks lovely. Makes it look very $$$. Not dirty at all. The filled out arches compliment the body lines very well and the darker colour comes back in the softtop! I say go for it, you won't regret it. Looks stunnung

dbz - don't get Sport designs... They look "bling" like those dodgy Kahn wheels!!

Get the Carrera Sports, they look great at all angles, very chunky and might look even better with spacers.

I do like the wheel and the way it is sporty and chunky a lot..it's the color that maybe too much.

I should have said before that I have a Metropol Blue hood with Ocean (Sea) blue interior and I think it just might be too many different colors going on. Volcano vents and roll overs, red brake calipers, blue hood and then grey wheels.

I appreciate everyone's input and help. If anyone comes across any more photos I would certainly like to see them.

My other half has these wheels on her Boxster S. They are painted GT silver as standard so would look fine against artic IMHO.

Thanks again BT, I think they look better with a GT silver car than the arctic (at least they maych, whereas with the arctic they are actually darker). Nice to see these,thank you. I wonder if I could get some which were not painted?

I'd go for the Carrera Sports over SDs any day - fill the arches more and a hell of a lot easier to clean inside than my sport designs :D

Whilst Carrera Sports do look better on dark blues and greys , they look very handsome on arctic too ;)
