Strange .... just lately I thought all at Ferrari were happy to keep him, from the engineers to Vettel who has an excellent relationship with him . With Leclerc Vettel will have someone who will want to be faster then him ....

Leclerc is young and full of energy and hungry to become WC, while Vettel wants to stay #1 driver.
Maybe they feel Kimi is not pushing Vett on enough. Leclerc could make Vett turn it up more..

Hamilton is pushing Vettel plenty and he can’t manage. Leclerc is another new stress factor for Vettel.

This might be an indication of how seriously Ferrari are treating Sauber as their junior team. Kimi with lots of experience and know performance/data will be a perfect leader for that team. And if Leclrec does not perform adequately they can just swap them back with little drama.
Why have a three car team, as some suggest, when you can have 4!

Flawless drive from Lewis, loved seeing how he dealt with the situation when he and Max ran into the battling Grosjean et alli.
Ferrari seems to be cracking under pressure with their ill-fated tire strategy... or was that Sebs call?
Max absolutely stunning drive, finishing second with a failing gearbox.
What is up with Perez? Absolutely horrendous behavior, first pushing Ocon off the track and then making his move on Sirotkin. Dutch commentators were suggesting that something negative is playing with Perez, and figured some big news about him coming soon.

Ham is the best, vet cant handle the pressure, ferrari box strategy never works, lewis can easily win the championship in 2 gp. One year again that ferrari could win but loses thank to the low professionality.
next year with leclerc they will have no chance to get in the fight for the constructors title

Now some theory from my end to the actual situation @F1:
- since begin of this years season everybody was wondering how Ferrari couldn't only catch up to Mercedes but even more suddently had the most powerfull engine "out of the dark"?!
- so it was clear that they cheated and due to the high importance of Ferrari for the sport nobody wanted to blame them officially
- so I guess Mercedes and Red Bull increased pressure on F1 Management to bring this under control again and by chance this seems to work...
- so everybody won:
- Mercedes & Red Bull being successful again
- Ferrari for beeing seen as "serious" contender of F1 championship
- F1 by having an exciting championship this year
- the fans as it was looking good for SV and Ferrari
Regaring Perez I wouldn't be surprised if Ocon will still drive next year @Racing Point as he's a great driver and having Mercedes and Toto backing him up Sergio Perez will have to leave, even more since he crashed into Ocon now for several times this year...
By chance Racing Point is using Merc engines :-P

Is ferrari also using launch control again? Vettel's launches have been incredible lately, and it wasn't for nothing that Ferrari have been covering up the camera that films the cockpit with ice bags. I would have loved some input from commentors on that... anybody saw the cockpit view of SV's launch?

I cannot understand the hype - they finished Saturday Quali : HAM,VER,VET,BOT,RAI,RIC - and finished 100% the same on Sunday.....
Epic - truly spectacular.......
So Alonso is the best because he changed position ?
Oh - I forgot they have a LED Podium where they can drive the winning car on now......yeahhhh
