    Gallardo TT vs Modded F40

    So we go towards Cars and Coffee. As we are pulling up we see the f40 leaving along with a superbike. Knowing that if the F40 was leaving and going south there is perfect road to let loose on as it opens into a 2 lane road and is a long seperate onramp onto the highway. We flip a U turn and chase down the f40. Deuce is convinced the guy will not race, but I was pretty certain that if the guy had any balls he knew the road ahead would be wide open and that he would more than likely floor it as soon as he was out of the turn. I was right... F40 man gets on it hard out of the turn and we follow suit.. Even with a couple car length lead and the jump soon as we hit third (started in 2nd) we are blowing past him like nothing.. Afterwards we try and get his attention, wave, honk ANYTHING he wouldnt even look at us!! He even ran a red light to get away from us

    As for the Bike, he seemed to get left behind by both cars...

    3.4 liter
    cams
    exhaust
    turbos
    ecu
    heads ported
    lm exhaust

    It made 610rwhp..

    Seems logical, but you have to keep in mind the weight of both cars. The F40 is stripped. Has no equipment or luxury options.

    And i think Allans TTG is 1000 bhp at the crank? Not really sure though. Allan...?

    Well before we raced I had no idea of the mods. Afterwards we found out the driver of the F40 is a bit famous in the car world. He was even the driver who took the Aero SSC to its world record 250+mph.

    Anyways in the race I was on pump gas, so Im right around 750hp to the wheels, and my car weighed in at 3370lbs with half a tank of gas. An F40 weighs about 3050lbs with same.

    On its highest setting, my car made 1005hp to the wheels, approx 1200hp at the crank... Mid setting is 930hp at the wheels, and lowest setting made 763hp at the wheels.

    ^^^Probably a mixture of gas and ECU map, as opposed to a "switch."

    I can flip a switch to 1000hp setting, but if I don't have the right go-go juice in the tank it's a no-go.

    You can switch settings on the fly? Without having to change fuel?
    (Unless you just run hi-test the entire time)
    It makes 1000hp on pump gas alone

    1000+ is on racing fuel if I remember correctly. Still a crazy figure!
