    Wow, this is getting more and more funny everyday! I am reading this with a big smile on my face, looking forward to a reaction by porsche. Finally they can get their PR department to gut use, by letting them come up with a clever answer!

    I thought that the only thing that mattered to you guys were the Sport Auto Supertests.

    Wasn't the GT-R faster than the 997 Turbo that got tested twice?

    What was the difference between the GT2 and the Turbo? What were the times claimed by August?

    edit: and because I know you will mention the 7:29 and compare it to Sport Auto's 7:50; HvS did the 7:50 when Suzuki did the 7:38.

    No GT-R supertest yet. Remember that the Euro spec GT-R will not be available until spring(?)2009.
    You must have read here about the performance discrepancy between Jap and US spec cars.

    I'm just baiting ya cos I was bored. I think the car is quick. Very quick in fact. The results on other tracks stand up for themselves. I have no argument with it's ability at all. Just wouldn't buy one.... Nothing scientific about it.
