    THUD

    hi just comparing notes; do you guys ever experience a thud when changing gear from drive to reverse and vice versa. Nothing major but noticeable. Id like to have your comments

    Thanks for that, how comes it only does it sometimes and not all the time? My c2s 997 never did it im thinking could it be something to do with the 4 wheels drive?

    spoke to porsche today and they have told me that this is quite a common fault and is caused by failed gearbox mount rubbers. So its not normal.
