    i wonder if the center lock hubs would be retrofitable to the current setup...and at what cost, i know reasonable x 3....in any event looks great

    It would be a nightmare to retrofit that setup I would think. Plus a centerbolt typically has a TQ spec of 160ft lbs, yikes!
    Porsche basically looked at all the hoopla with people changing rims, esp p40s, and copied them one better! HREs gotta love that.
    Re the p47s, they look too much like the stockers.

    WAY better than the old Turbo wheels

    However, I can't help feeling they still look a little boring. Perhaps it's because I am just use to my P40's which have a lot more 3D dive to them?!

    I wonder what they weigh?

    Sexiest wheels ever - but living with them would be a nightmare...

    No one but the dealer would have the right tools to take them off or re-torque them properly... good for Porsche, bad for you.

    you are better off with these- get the look without the hassle. They hold their value quite well.

    I sold my set after 10000 miles for 20% more than I paid for them.

    3600~ euro +/- 5000 USD. MSRP (18' Alu centers)

    Don't know, but this brings the same emotion to me as those glue on brake calipers and stickers of sunroofs. Oh, and let's not forget the screw on mufflers that make the sound of a turbo engine...

    Dang it!  Both wheels look soooooo good to me.

    I like the spyder wheel alot, but the hre wheels look fantastic as well.
