Trundle_GT3:How many of you WP owners got skipped over as far as the carbon fibre steering wheelOn the grand scheme of things, it’s doesn’t matter one bit. If someone is keeping he car, then a 3 months or 6 months delay in getting the carbon insert means exactly nothing. But for flippers, then it matters on how quickly Porsche can supply the correct part as the flip price is very time sensitive.

Gnil:For the ones interested in weight , my car is 1467 kg , dry
How does that compare to the specified weight from Porsche? I guess I could look it up, but I am sure you already have

KresoF1:1430kg is without Clubsport. Cage is not light at all. Lightest is with WP non Cage option(Code 808).
If you want to compare apple to apples then how the GT3 is specced as well? without cage but sofa?
pccb is not into the game as Porker got a very low weight of 1338kg...in regards to advertised manual gearbox car of 1413kg

dinogb:I heard that the second batch of the RS won’t have the titanium exhaust.
Does someone have any news ?
Due to the particulate filter, exhaust will have a different (technical) design, so yes...it is possible.

Would all of you RS guys please update your verdicts on the new RS?
Sun is thinking of ordering the 2019 in NZ, and wonders is it really that much better than the GT3, given he only does <10 track days per year and much high speed road, but never over 200..... thanks

BjoernB:hahaha - well - handling has further improved to Mk1 - epic engine - Sun will be delighted in the sum of it's parts with rollcage delete
Haha, you are right except not roll cage delete, but remove and store for potential sale, and perhaps the "sports buckets" [seems to be the same seat as in Sun's 2015 Gt3] which fold and allow gear in back much easier!!!
Sec: Steel brakes, [no choice on] lifts, heated seats and leather int, chrono, clubsport, sport buckets, black, no graphics on doors, black wheels [a first and last for Sun:)],
and one set of ears plugs, per Gnil
I would also choose black wheels with black . But black needs to be clean , otherwise looks quickly dull . But if you don't mind ... As a main road car , I would definitely have black on my list . As a main track , week end toy, less so .
Seats are the same as on .1 or GT3 .
As Dave says... the car feels very alive , even more so after a good racing set up
Choose well your ear plugs , you will need them

as track toy, black is cool, you don't see tyre marks everywhere

Haha,
ROW RS
The good news is in NZ titanium exhaust and no particulate filter which seems to be a Euro problem
The bad news stuck with the lifts but that's really not so bad.
My dealer was complaining Sun never washed the GT Silver GT3, told him he washed the black 07 RS twice a week, so he should be glad Sun ordered black this time
