No chairman , can't face his superiority !
Easy to recognize my car , it have a big black mouth , only way to find it among that nest of lizards
On the track the .2 RS is a fantastic tool .Sharp, precise . It is more nervous then the .1 , and a bit harder to handle , but at the same time , once you get used to it , it is also better . You need to hold it tighter and concentrate more on the feed back from the car . Also RWS is more pronounced .
Driving 650 km in one go on the highway is more tiring then with the .1 because cabin noise is louder , not due to engine noise, but general noise and resonance . There must be less insulation material . Used ear plugs on the way back for the first time , that was better . Also the car is more nervous and you can not relax with the steering wheel . Needs to be held properly at all times . Changes of asphalt , bums , and so on , are felt strongly . I like it a lot, but on long trips it adds tiredness .
Had an alignment done at Manthey + upgrade of the brakes and suspensions . Since yesterday they are now an official Porsche center .
For those interested in more technical details, here a few pics .
Notice the WP carbon parts .
The LG color matching brake pads
The suspension upgrade
And a strange shooting brake coming in and out from the Aston facility , covered in camo red stickers

Eric,
Fantastic report. And your impression about the car is spot on!
I drove one few days ago locally. It is a friends car and he broke his leg so, I was basically driving him from Opatija to Split(for someone to get the picture about the route and roads are like). We drove on local autobahn, very curvy local country roads. Even made a visit to Grobnik race track.
Car is way more involving then .1 IMO. It is exhausting on long trips. Also, not the fastest car on the autobahn. I was overtaken by latest M5 with Czech licence plates. Above 200km/h 991.2 GT3 RS do not have any chance again new M5 on the autobahn. Little bit frustrating if you ask me... But, at Landstraße or on the track car is the king. So involving and rewarding at the same time.
Impressive car indeed. I can get low spec one at list price but, after this pretty long drive(over 1000km, car has already 5600km on clock) I need to thing twice. It can not be a single sports car for me. And I can not have more then 3 cars in the family(my garage fits two cars and have a two parking spots in my front yard). 992 Carrera S will be a blast and will be daily usable.... Again, some thinking for me...

Forget about pure speed on autobahn. This is territory for fast whales.
Now regarding the .2 either the 3 in manual or the 3RS, they are fantastic cars.
992 can be good, it will not be a GT level and apart from that let’s see the weight and size inflation

Judging by Eric's owner's report and by Kreso's expert opinion the new RS seems like a superfluous car for a the handsome amount of 200.000+ EUR.
Unless someone has the time to spend days in a race track or lives near appropriate twisty routes, this car might be surplus.

Well - I've only done 1000km's with it. Not much to say - yet.
I'll drive it to Nürburgring in about two weeks. I'll try to be more active then :)
Manthey-Racing opens Porsche Service Centre
Meuspath. Manthey-Racing is extending its range of services for road vehicles: from now on, the Meuspath-based company will open part of its factory store as an official Porsche Service Centre. “Manthey Servicezentrum GmbH”, an independent company, offers all the services provided by a Porsche Centre, including inspections, guarantee and warranty work, maintenance and spare parts for all Porsche models.
Christoph Breuer will share the management of the Porsche Service Centre with Nicolas and Martin Raeder. “We are delighted to now be able to work as an official Porsche partner in the field of road vehicles, alongside our continued commitment as a Porsche works team on the motorsport scene,” says Nicolas Raeder. Martin Raeder adds: “Based on our experience as a successful racing team at the Nürburgring, we are able to provide a special additional offering: an emergency service is available at events for roadworthy vehicles on the Nordschleife.
Christoph Breuer, former project leader for road vehicles at Manthey-Racing, will switch to Manthey Servicezentrum GmbH in his new role. “Our operations as a Porsche service partner are aimed at owners of Porsche GT models and owners of all other Porsche vehicles,” explains Breuer, who also takes over the operational leadership of the centre.
The Porsche Service Centre at the headquarters of Manthey-Racing is open from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. The emergency service on event days is available between 09:00 and 17:00, including Sundays and public holidays. Porsche customers’ vehicles will be looked after at four regular work bays, a diagnosis and high-voltage workplace, and a direct vehicle reception.

Which is a good thing, as that is the entire purpose of the GT3 RS IMHO. Ofr boulevard cruising and sporty long drives, the normal GT3 should suffice, should't it?

Kreso,
While at Manthey they were doing a Gt2 next to my car . They explained to me all the difference between the aero of both cars . Even if the rear spoiler looks the same on Gt2 and GT3 , they are not . GT2 can not have as much down angle as GT3 but the top has a slight more pronounced wing and a bit longer . They said GT2 has been designed for max speed while GT3 for max downforce . If you want real sports car that is an autobahn killer , then to is only the GT2 that can be that ... but at another price .
GT3 RS is not an autobahn weapon for sure , also the noise kills you after a while . Just decide what is more important for you . Otherwise Turbo , which can be tuned for track . Or regular GT3 for more confort
