    Need for Stoneguard on 360CS

    Anyone w/input on 360CS' need for Stoneguard? Have heard from some that 360CS paint/nose seems unusually susceptible to damage without Stoneguard. Have had 2 new 360s in past w/acceptable level of battle scars after 5K miles each without Stoneguard, but will grudgingly have Stoneguard installed on incoming 360CS if CS is unusually fragile....or will just have to trade it in sooner than usual

    no worse than gt2's.. i use latex at the track and openroadracing.com just as i did on the 2's.

    I have the stoneguard on my Stradale. I just got my car on Saturday and had the dealer install it before picking the car up. I spoke to a few people who recommended it. I also saw several photos of cars with severe rock chips in the front. The idea of repainting the hood with the stripe is not appealing. I recommend it

    I did 3000 miles on the Bullrun in my Stradale. The guard saved my whole front end. Call Gregg Simms at Force Field in the Bay Area. Not only is he the best, he has all the molds for the Stradale. His contact number is 408 691 6791

    Thanks for excellent advice, gentlemen. I'm going to go for the Stoneguard. Watt, those pics on fchat of 720's CS (w/o Stoneguard) are just gruesome.....I'm all for a few battle scars as part of driving these cars as they're meant to be driven....but that CS was just brutalized .

    jdcohenmd, very nice choice of cars Having lived in Manhattan in past, curious where in NJ you go (aside from track) to exercise your cars? I used to do the painful drive through the lovely Bronx to head up to Westchester (Pound Ridge area) to find smooth, curvy roads. In comparison to NYC, I've found SF region to be a car nut's paradise, w/numerous, fun mountain roads within 30mins of downtown SF....

    Thanks for the comments. Just got back from Newport R.I. Took the 996, mostly highway, good road in R.I. In NJ you have to head west into mercer and hunterdon counties. That is where I go to drive or ride my cycles. I am from Rockland originally, so I will go up to Bear Mtn, seven lakes etc.. It is hard to find good drives that are not 1-2 hrs of highway drone.

    Don't forget to check out the competing product, Llumar. It is much clearer than the Stonegard, and has the same protection level. If you see the two products side-by-side, you will pick the Llumar.
