It is not the sour grapes syndrome at all, but this parade in the centre of London is in bad taste IMO.
It is pure show-off without any purpose and definitely no class. Some cars are fantastic but in the wrong hands. Pity!

Of course this influx is good for the London economy and a feast for casinos, shops and "personal services providers".

    Re: Today's sights - London

Can all of them fit into that car?

    Re: Today's sights - London

    ^^
No, the other take the Cayenne Turbo S they shipped over, or Daddy's Roller. At 01:30AM I've spotted two guys in their young 20s sitting behind the wheel of a Drophead Coupe pushing through crowded Picadilly Circus with their LED head lights.

Contrary to what the story the pictures might tell people with money here known how to carry themselves on the roads. Never in my 8 months here have I heard anyone driving a Lambo, Porsche, AM or Ferrari driving around knightbridge blasting music through the windows. Neither are engines revved unnecessarily so there is another side to it even the show-off does look a bit obscene. The vast majority of people jumping out of these exotics are dressed normally. Looking at some of them you can never guess that they are driving a car worth Pounds100 000 more than what ever you're in.
    Yesterday's spottings:

    Re: Today's sights - London

    Ah the F1 SLR.

You've definitely found THE prime spotting err... spots

    Keep up the amazing pictures!

    Re: Today's sights - London

Some really nice machines there. But from the look of it, it must be irritating to drive round in such a high performance vehicles only to be stuck in all that congestion and small spaces.

Actually, for poseurs, it is exactly what they want, to be stuck in a jam and have everyone look at them.

The car that plate and wheels were on was originally black. he must have sold he old black SLR and moved over the plate and wheels to the new gray SLR.

    Re: Today's sights - London

You mean the plate sold for GBP 440.000,--.

    Re: Today's sights - London

wow does that other plate read KKK?? thats crossing the line of funny a bit...IMO

    Re: Today's sights - London

Kahn has a collection of various number plates. If you have no problems and too much time it's better as drugs...but more expensive....
