Can any brother tell me should I keep the GTS exclusive combination of high-performance steel-sprung suspension with PASM or Change it to Air suspension + PDCC. It's very difficukt to make my choice. Thanks for your help.
thanks for your advise but I still cannot dicided get the Air+PDCC or not. It cost quite high in HK about USD12,500. any GTS owner here can tell more about your GTS according to your driving experiance. I think there must have some brothers who has a steelsuspension + PASM and some brothers has an Air + PDCC + PASM.
I would go for the Air + PDCC + PSAM as it makes the Cayenne very versitile. If you want a sporty ride you push some buttons and of you go. Remember if you want a more smooth ride with the steel springs you are snookered. I have heard reviews from the UK that the steel springs make the ride too hard on the UK roads. OK the roads are not great but quite a bit better that here (so air is a no brainer). Actually I sold my X5 4.8is just because of the hard ride. My wifes landcruiser was a far more confortable ride and I have now the best of both worlds (power and confort)
Personally I think it is worth while the money and I think CPA4S mentioned that 95% of the GTS have been sold with air suspension so the majority are choosing for the more expensive option.
thanks for your advise, but until now I still cannot see any GTS (steel springs ) owner to tell their experience. if any brother here is a owner of GTS in (steel springs ) please tell your comments.
There was a discussion about this in the German forum section a while ago. The GTS with steel springs and without Servotronic seems to have a better handling and makes the driver feel more connected with the car. The air suspension, that RC referred to, is significantly softer. Please note that there was no (i]direct connection between GTS steel- and GTS air-suspension but the handling with regular steel springs appears to be excellent.
I picked up my Nordic Gold GTS (steel springs) a week ago. What I can say is the setting of the suspension is perfect. I drive with 'comfort' setting in city and ' normal or sport' on highways. The balance is superior and the ride comfort is not compromized at all. Body roll is less than my Audi TT MkII.

I have the air suspension (PASM) but not the PDCC. I read that the GTS suspension was different from the other Cayennes. Hence I didnt feel the need for PDCC in a GTS. In any other Cayenne, I would definitely get the PDCC. For the GTS, I ended up spending the extra $ on other options instead of PDCC.
super nice. now I already fix all options but one thing I still confuse is the color. actually I ordered silver color but I really like the sand white with the same color front mask...difficult to choose.
Hi Mark, thanks for your advise, dark olive is a very nice color, but did they stop the production of this color for 2009 GTS because I cannot find this color anymore at Porsche's home page.
Indeed, I forgot, I remember that our dealer told me that I was lucky as I was one of the last once in dark olive green. Sorry to get your hopes up (smile !!)
