69bossnine, you're bad, but the schoolbus reference did make me laugh. I don't know, yellow cars just don't do it for me either. But looking at the trunk does make me feel a little better, guess I might not be the only one who has driven around with it not all the way down.

In my opinion an Aero-kit equipped Carrera S is more of GT3 (RS) wannabe than Carrera S with black wheels and decals...

I once had a Yellow 04 Ford F150 FX4. I've had "I thought I saw you driving down the road the other day but I got closer and it was a school bus" -- also wife drove it to work one day and management sent a company wide email that said "the truck the color of a highlighter will be towed unless an employee claims it." I'll never have a yellow vehicle again. also was called Big Bird.

Other than the contrast on those pictures being way too high, thus making the colors seem much hotter than they really are in person, its not bad. There are way too many boring grey or silver cars out there; I appreciate a car that looks different. Looks are not always about trying to pose as a different car, but getting the look of the car the way the owner wants it. That may be different than the performance that the owner wants out of the car. Yeah, there are you hardcore guys that just have a problem with someone in a base model liking the look of some of the race models and wanting to get that look, but no performance. Tastes differ.
Me, I'd rather have a distinctive appearance I like, and don't care so much what others think about it.. .though it would bother me if they said on the PA system "the owner of the gray car, that looks like every 2nd car out there but is parked in the bosses space...." If you were uncomfortable because of your yellow vehicle, then you really should not have purchased a yellow vehicle to start with.... and there's nothing wrong with that.

Those pics make me more anxious for November. I have an order for a 09 CarreraS in Speed Yellow for October build and November delivery. I learned from my last build that the last few weeks will be the hardest. I keep reminding myself that it will be here before I know it.

Yeah, but whats wrong with that.... wanting the look of the sporty cars, but the comfort and features of the basic Carrera

I've always known it as "Corvette Yeller...", as it's the shade-of-choice for 70% of your mullet-wearin' 1978-Camaro-buildin' hot-rodder in the south.. 
Now, if you REALLY want to do it right, you go to AutoZone and pick up 20 feet of bright-yellow plastic wire loom to dress-out your engine compartment, and paint your air box yellow, and then apply an "Aint Sceered" or "No Fear" script sticker to the rear window...
I'll teach you European boys how to roll Florida-style yet!!!
