After two weeks driving a small diesel rent a car around the southern coast of Spain and Gibraltar I have to say - the roads are not getting any bigger nor are underground parking garages. Oh my god. Size matters a lot more in Europe than in Kansas. What they call a two lane in Europe would give most Americans a heart attack as a one way. Good fun but add a few bike riders and people walking and it is a bit tricky. My respect goes out to bus and truck drivers going through cities. Awesome skills. Btw I spent time at the Park Plaza Hotel and had a blast car watching, people watching and in awe of some of the nice yachts.

I like it but It makes my brand new RS's dash board look already very dated . Only good thing I could think off about mine ... real last nearly full analogue dash

Same place as above fotos, Mojacar, Almeria provence Spain, were they always take mules every year to test in the hot weather and the up to Sierra Nevada and compare data with sea level. They have there now 992 mules, taycan and new macan.

According to a Swiss gentleman from another forum (also starts with a renn) who supposedly (the post was made about 2 months ago) saw a short clip from the 992 Official presentation said the following:
- Gear Shift similar to Panamera
- "Movable conver in place of exposed cup holder"
- Lots of Chrome accents and black glass horizontal surface near the shifter
Besides the freaking cup holder and the shifter (RC confirmed the change of the shifter), (judging by several comments, the cup holder and shifter are the things most//several Porsche fans are most excited about the upcoming 992) we were expecting the rest!

Personally I am very sceptic regarding the new interior....At least I didn't liked the interior that I saw on the spyshots...at all! The overall design looked horrible. Shaver design of the shifter, hideous air conditioner grill, ugly button design... Let's wait and see. I do like the exterior of the 992 very much, but I'm afraid the interior will suck

If they apply the corporate design philosophy to the interior as well I will be extremly disappointed, last thing the 911 needs is to look like a mini-Panamera inside, hope they give it "bit" of old 911 aircooled look with modern materials... but I'm not keeping my hopes up. Target buyer for the 992 probably doesn't know what an aircooled 911 looks inside...

Indeed, the upcoming iteration of 911 does look less like a 911, interior and exterior. Its becoming huge but so does the rest of the competition. Would love for once that cars be smaller and weight less than their predecessors.

20 years ago (and still today) people were/are complaining about the 993 size and the outdated interior, etc.... now they wanted it back?
Reminds me of the Nokiia 8210 and 8850 (i´m a proud owner of a Nokia 8850 from 1998 and still works by the way)
Too thin, too small, too that!!!
Sometimes people want it smaller, sometimes they want it bigger (dont know about women tough)
Guys, come on!!!

They do it step by step, now it's smaller then next time around it will be gone.
PAG should do as ferrari did (with manual transmissions, gear levers etc.): f....the purists, let them cry wolf.

Tried and Porsche has reversed that with the manual option on the 991.2 GT3, the GT3 Touring, and the Carrera T. As Bentley’s Head recently discussed with Autocar, the sports car market never rebounded after the recession of 2008 and the remaining market continues to age. We still want our manuals!
