    F430 - OFFICIAL Pictures Available and Tech Info!!!

    The following pictures are not a photoshop job, they show the REAL thing.

    V8 4.3 l engine with 490 HP, 1372 kg weight, top speed 315 kph, 0-100 kph under 4 seconds.
    First shown to the public at the Paris Autoshow on Sept 21.
    Cars go to customers starting first quarter 2005.
    Enjoy.

    My first comment about the F430: finally Ferrari built a worthy F355 successor, the F360 looked always too "feminine" to me. The F430 looks absolutely great, it is a perfect mix of elegance, sportiness, aggressive looks and Enzo genes. I bet this car will sell like warm bread (as we say here... ). Congrats to Ferrari for such a beauty!

    BTW: the weight/power ratio is the same as on the 360 Challenge Stradale, straight line performance should be slightly better though due to improved aerodynamics and gear ratio.

    Beautiful I must say, the rear sort of venturi tunnels and Enzo look, the sharper agressive front lights, the side air intakes and hips, the 19"? wheel design (those look like carbon brakes BTW), right up to the F430 touch on the mirrors, all beautiful and agressive as it should be ... except for the strange oversised front bumper air intakes and putting the engine start button ON the steering wheel

    Yes, carbon brakes, similar to the Enzo and Challenge Stradale. The wheels are 19'' but I'm not sure if the carbon brakes are a standard option, same applies to the new and with lots of mapping switching options equipped F1 gearbox.

    Very nice - if the car looks good in the official pictures, it will be stunning in real life.

    Yesterday, I couldn't wait any longer so I made a sketch of the car based on spy photos and by guessing the shape of the brake scoops (similar to the Enzo, I guessed). Was going to scan and post it later. Here it is anyway - I was pretty close...

    can't understand the way front air intakes look yet...

    completely dislike the side air intakes, they seem an after market tuning gadget.

    i'm still not completly convinced by her look, they've pumped 360's basic shape, but actually it's not as pure as a Ferrari should look...

    hope to see it in metal.

    just adore the yellow rev counter, it's so....Ferrari!

    Calculate a 4% increase on the price compared to the 360.

    The Carbon brakes are optional.
    0-160 in 9.2 sec
    1/4 mile in 12.8 sec reaching a speed of 190km/h
