    Retrofit for BlueTooth adapter for 997?

    [sorry if it was discussed before, I saw very old posts, and figured that they're outdated]

    Hi guys, is it possible to retrofit a bluetooth phone adapter for 997?
    I have a targa4s 997 2007 with no phone option.

    Since the laws got much stricter on talking on the phone while driving my resistance to leave the car as is has been broken.

    So if anyone can advise an adapter or an installer (in Montreal area, ya, right...) I would be very grateful.

    Get the Nav-TV Tooki - it's the one pretty much everyone has.

    It's been through a number of software revisions to iron out the bugs, but I've found the latest firmware releases pretty solid. I've had it since December 2007.

    I just had a Tooki professionally installed in my '06 C2S 997. Receiving and making calls works fine; some cell phone features, like speed dial, either are not available, or my installer didn't know how to do it. Sound comes only from the car's right-side speakers; installer said sound from all the speakers would interfere with the microphone. Since the sound is clear, I can live with it.

    My only major issue: they used a small external microphone (not the one I had expected, which is built into the steering column) and placed it on the upper left corner of the windshield. Problem: all my callers hear strong feedback when they speak. I'll be bringing the car back for either a new microphone, or better placement soon.
