No that is all finished just waiting for the builders to get of their arse and take the scaffolding down !!!
It is a double grit guard bucket on wheels... The platforms are bolted together !!!

Congrats of the new ride! I'm completing a FL order and have quick question. Did you get the Bose upgrade and how does it sound? If not, how is the standard sound system? I don't currently have the Bose upgrade on my order because I didn't think much of the one in the 2008's. Enjoy!

Yes i do have BOSE in the car. I never had a MK 1 997 so i can't compare, however many say it is better.
I am pleased with it......

Actually I've heard of someone who doesn't like the big mirrors, the new rear lights and the new front, but likes the DI engine and the PDK.
This person has ordered a 997.2 as a donor car and he will have the new engine and transmision transplated to his 997.1 that has the classic rear lights and the slimline "race derived" mirrors and does away without the audi-imitating front daylight LEDs.
Aaah..and I almost forgot the best bit: He has ordered a real macho paddle conversion from a tuning firm because he doesn't like the new buttons and the "counter-intuitive" shift pattern that makes the pull downchanges so hard under heavy braking because of those huge g-forces.

Why not sell the gen 1 and buy a GT2, GT3, GT3 RS, or Turbo ??????

It's Duncan who seems to do all their used car purchasing and I currently deal with Alex for my purchases and it's been various other people over the years. I've always been very happy with their sales and service.
