Re: OFFICIAL: 911 GT2 RS (2017)
So, after a little tour with my new darling, to Nürburg ring (did the sports cup there) and to Meuspath (Manthey) and also a detour past Spa and the 24 h race ( just visited this year, had some friends driving) I can now give you a short first review of the GT2 RS.
In total I drove about 3600 km and mostly (sorry to say) on autobahn. But also some very nice winding roads in the Eifel region. Driving the GT2 on autobahn, with 3-4 krpm is a very nice Experiance compared to doing the same in the GT3. As long as you let the exhaust button be (with that on, the sound is just LAUD....) the car is super comfortable and you can actually listen to the radio But.... This SUPER car is easily doing a bit over 200 mph arround 3,5 krpm and with just a touch with your right foot, it goooooooes. Wow, what a car and the POWER.....
On my way back, after about 1.800 km I started to push the car some more, especially on some free speed sections of the autobahn. Since the Manthey guys gave it some work, it’s now more track adjusted, so you had to be a bit concentrated when you went up to speed. The camber is now quite aggressive, so NOOOO big movement on the stearing wheel in high speed🤪 But some Audi’s (acctually one R8, but black, so not RC😂) and BMW’s challenged me some and even if I don’t race on public roads, I could not resist to press a little on the throttle.
And my god, it moves ! What an amasing feeling when you ride along in about 220-230 mph and push down. Just f... mindblowing power and speed. This car is just fantastic. Even more so on winding roads with the new set up. I have a little bit more camber back and a lot more camber on the front, the suspension is adjusted Manthey way and I also have the braided break lines and racing break fluid. If you have hair enough on your chest and push the car on winding roads, it just sticks. And soooo nicely agile in the stearing.
Next step will be to get it out on track, now that the break in is done. Sorry to say, that have to wait a bit since I’m going to be traveling the next five weeks or so. But get back with a more detailed review after I tested tha car in its proper environment, on track
Short first impression: Mindblowingly FAST, enormous POWER, AGILE and, if you want it to be, quite CIVILIZED 😍😍😍
Some pictures of the car and some from Spa 24h pits.

Next up, taking the Panamera for a spin for a week, then Sports cup in Oschersleben
