Is this possible, 998 prototype already, for 2010?

If true, this would make facelift Turbo's arrival fall within 1-2 years of introduction of next generation 911?

Looks like they put on the old 997.1 style side mirrors... hurray!

Don't think so. It's just a mule, guess they had some old-style mirrors left.

I have to post in this one again. If you look at the marker light on the fender, it fits the fender flare as if it is a production item (the lense).
Pray this is an indication of a return to the classic 911 flared fender cokebottle shape.
I have been holding onto my 993 Turbo with the idea that it was the last Porsche to look like a Porsche. I am pleased to see that I was wrong. No matter what we are looking at in these pics, it definately looks good.

I try to clarify the confusion: when the 997 Turbo was introduced back in June 2006, development of the 997 Turbo successor(not facelift!) already started. This is pretty common in the car industry, sometimes it takes 4-5 years to fully develop the successor of a succesful car.
The 997 Turbo, incl. facelift, should be around until spring 2011 or 2012. 2010? No way. Unless fuel prices go up rocket high(yes, even higher than now) and Porsche needs to offer a solar powered 911 Turbo hybrid.

no 2010 for FL turbo? so 2011-2012 is close to the new 991 (not turbo ok)

If you read the order guide I posted, it shows 'paint to sample' deadline of Feb '09. That means the 997 TT will probably continue into early summer or late spring (May?). I'm still betting on a summer release of the '10 TT. I'm not RC, but that's just my two cents.
