    Very nice!
    The rear lights are HUGE.
    German cars are always on top when it comes to visibility, they always understood this.

    I like it. Pretty conservative and classy as it should be.
    Interior details are great. Looks like you sit deep, surrounded by leather and cool tech. I wouldn't know where to start first

    I thought they would take this chance to redeem themselves. I guess not, I'm thinking all the BMW designers must be driving the new Infiniti G 37. I am sure Bangle will get another promotion out of this. The last good design was the Z8.

    The car looks better in dark colors, because it is deleting lots of lines.

    The back isnt that bad, but the front is sooo boring. The whole design is still to much Bangle, too much like the old one. I was hoping to see a sporty seven. Unfortunatley they stayed on that old design.

    All bimmers will be more evolution than revolution. So next series (including new 5 series) will look like they get major face lift. Z4 will be probably most changed model, but still difference between current Z4 and E89 Z4 will be smaller than it was between Z3 and Z4. New 5 series will have much more coupeish roof (like mix between MB E and MB CLS), but other parts of the car will be more evolution than revolution - like major face lift (bigger kidneys, a little restyled lights...)

    But new 7er got similarities to E65 FL, since FL was meant to change direction into right way (its design v1.5 , so its in the middle between v1.0 (E65) and v2.0 (F01). But in flesh difference is bigger, because F01 got completly different side line (lower and more coupeish roof, higher sides...).

    There side by side comparison of F01 and E65. You can see how lower are windows, lower roof, higher sides...

    Best pics so far. And I like this very much.

    I also don't think the taillights are too big. I think they're just about right for a car of this size and caliber.

    The front kidney need to that's size to feed the the twin turbos. So, it's a matter of function that takes priority here. It also gives it a bit of the 6 series flair, which I like.

    We can both live with our opinions, I'm sure.
