HaHa..., I think I sensed that too.
To be perfectly honest? A dozen "normal" Porsches driving by is easier to grasp than a dozen us$500K Porsches (or Ferraris) driving by.
The latter is a kind of a "force-multiplied" embarassing conspicuous consumption.
IOW, the spectacle takes on a "parade float" scale.

if i could afford one , which i cant....id be more inclined to have it trucked to torrey in s.w. utah for a few days of some real road work....following the police man with other "enthusiasts" isnt the essence of the cgt, at least for me....it did look like everyone had a great time... which is all that matters.

All I can say is :
If I was a owner of a cgt in that area, I would definately have assist !!!, the three videos where amazing, although for me the best of them all, is the third one!!!!!!!

Driving with those escorts and "showing off" to all the other drivers is ghey imo. Were the guy's on the bikes hired from the village people?
I agree, pathetic use of such a car.
I was at a meet once to go on a ride to then watch an f1 race or something. Well some dweeb had arranged for a private security car to "escort" this caravan of mostly f-cars to the place.
I left.

Count the stone chips after a wax, black cars are a nightmare for chips and everything else showing up.
I've not seen those videos before.
On the subject of videos, i was wondering yesterday why theres no good in car videos of the CGT being given a high speed thrash around a race track.
We all know mike has taken his CGT on the track a few times, and i was wondering if he's got some in car footage of his track driving which would be interesting to see and hear his comments while driving around the race track.
I'm sure most of you non CGT owners would like to see.
I've not seen those videos before.

Silver was the most popular car colour for years in the late 90's and early 2000's/ I think people are moving away from it as a trend but they will come back to it. Silver is Porsche, like red is Ferrari. The black CGT is amazing though.

Sorry, that's just not true. The "subjective" element you refer to plays a less significant role and is usually caused by cultural or personal experiences. Every object's shape or colour stirs a certain reaction within a person and this can be boiled down to certain unified reasons.
If you want to tell me that white just miraculously disappeared from the scene in the last decade and your colour choices at your favourite clothing store are made by you than I don't want to interfere with your opinion. Economy would acclaim though...
