at least you get any color you want for your porsche -- i ordered the F430 in bianco avus... it was refused by ferrari. they seem to fear i might sell it to the US or asia... no white car for me!!

I think the best colour for the 997 is this black. All other colours tend to give too much smile to the front, which personally, I don't like.
I can't wait to see the Turbo, hopefully, with a slighlty different front (which in my opinion will change definetly the look).
zzboba, excellent choice. I think I will get one too but first I want to enjoy the GT3 for at least 2 years because its really a great car.

I have a 964 rs, 993 rs and a gt3 cs 04 in white.
right know in discussion with the dealer for a white F430 in switzerland. here in switzerland there isn't a problem ordering a white one.
when do you get yours?

oh yes i love white cars as well. my current GT3 RS looks so great!!
the problem seems to be that i'm new with ferrari. they don't trust me and white seems to be too strange for europe. if it would be my 4th or 5th ferrari, i could get it in white. probably. who knows.
it wasn't a problem to order it in white at the dealer -- the problem occured one week later when ferrari refused the color... the dealer was quite surprised as well.
expected delivery date: Q3/05.
i'm not sure about options yet, it seems that a lot of kit will be lot available... probably sport seats, sports exhaust, scuderia crests, challenge rims and nav system.
i'm going for manual btw. -- no F1.
and no park distance control for sure!!!

I like Porsches in white, specially the GT3RS, but I wouldn't order a white Ferrari. I'm not sure it is a good combo.
I've seen pictures of the Maserati version of the Enzo (whatever it is called) in white and it doesn't look good at all.

I know it changes from car to car. Some colours are associated with specific manufacturers, though. Most of Porsche's race cars have been white.
I believe that the sportier Ferrari models are designed with colours like red and yellow in mind. I personally like the Ferraris in silver and blue as well.

Yes, you are right. But consider that a different colour brakes the personality of the car as it was conceived. It could brake it positively or in a negative way. In my opinion, with my tastes, I think a 360 Modena in white its beautiful and it inspires me the word RACING. I guess it will do that for the F430 too. Of course I love the red and the yellow on it. But its again a matter of taste. You say you like the 360 in silver or blue. I find those colour on a Ferrari soffocating.
So, again, its a matter of taste...
