    I cannot decide whether I like this car or not.

    I ask myself if this was not a Ferrari would I buy it? For now my answer is no.

    I guess it has to be seen in person before deciding. I have no intention of flying to Paris. Hopefully our European friends can give us a better opinion after seeing it in the flesh.

    I've already seen this car in the flesh. The front 1/2 is my wife's Maserati and the back 1/2 is my neighbor's SC430.

    For sure Red doesn't fit this car. I think in this color (light blue) it looks much better, but as to if I would buy it?

    1) Can't afford it.
    2) Doesn't look like a Ferrari, more of a Lexus/Toyota design.

    Exactly, this is a very good indication of the target market they are aspiring to. Which is a very good idea if they want to diversify and increase sales. So far the "entry level" Ferraris appealed to a limited type of owners who could put up with the raw character and impracticalities for the sake of absolute performance (which the vast majority of owners were not capable of exploring).
    The California will enter the wives, girlfriends and misresses segments as well as celebrities and the affluent over 50s. It will be huge hit taking sales from all the german brands, Jaguar etc etc!

    Good eye! You pretty much summed it up. However, in terms street prescence, both those cars don't even come close.


    Interesting how the new pics show the back seats. Very sneaky first official pics.

    Only that in the overhead pic the front seats are pushed so far forward on their runners that you wouldn't be able to get in them

    That's what I thought.

    Red is not the color for the car, blue TDF with tan or this light blue with cream, or yellow and black. Maybe a dark grey...

    Still debating if this can replace the 612... Seems like no.

    It's growing on me. I've got a feeling it's going to be a bit like the 599 in that it doesn't photograph well but looks great in the metal. I like the roof up shots and the blue seems to make it look less tail end heavy than the Rosso Corsa car. Nero Daytona with beige may look good or Grigio Silverstone with bordeaux.
