If you ONLY had GTR money to spend on a car AND you needed AWD for winter AND a back seat for kids AND you wanted the fastest Ring car, what would you buy?

    1. GTR
    2. I'd rather walk

    Getting desperate?

Oops, didn't notice the requirement... 335xi with the Dinan Stage 3 upgrades then! I don't consider the back seats in the 996TT useful, otherwise I'd pick that.

just with ecu flash you getting into low 11s!!! Thats pretty amazing if you ask me

It is also noteworthy that the drivers had trouble keeping the launch control turned on. I don't understand the need to make the new performance cars so finicky when it comes to extracting the max performance - as if you need a perfect alignment of the stars to get the LC activated.

Re: As far as I am concerned the GT-R issue is moo

Here is an interesting comment from a C2S owner:

''I would swap my C2S in for a GTR tomorrow given the chance, my 911 is the best car I have ever had and so I am told streets ahead of the 996 version before it.

I do like brands but the question should be is what does the brand mean to the owner. I have a bling watch, I bought it because it looked nice and it is flashy, I am shallow and like flashy things. That said I for one would never own a rolex as they are not exclusive in the same way a Frank Muller is. More people used to stop and stare at my White M3 CSL rep than they do at my 911. For me Porsche is a better brand than Nissan but Skyline (or GTR) is a better brand than Porsche - why - because it is a brand for people that "Buy a car to drive as fast as possible" No one buys a Skyline to pose in - you cannot say that about an M3, 911, F430, Lambo or any other expensive car sports car - at least for now anways.

Go tell a Nissan fan he could have a Porsche 911 and he will say "Yes please but only until my GTR turns up"

    I wouldn't say that.
I just believe that the GT-R is the best value-to-performance car you can get for you dollar right now.
