Oh, I think it is when you know the right people.
In a worst case scenario, you pay double and you have the car.
Depends on how badly you want it.

i don't want it so badly:::))))
Hence the problem. IMHO the people who should get a car like the TdF are the ones who would pay higher than MSRP. Else you never know if they really want it or if they just take it because at worst they can drive it for free and at best make money.
In the end the real and fair solution for every limited model is a dutch auction (same solution for concert ticket prices) AFTER the car has been presented.
I just grabbed my F12 from my other house and parked the FF there, haven't touch it for 2 months.
It reminds me once again that how perfect the F12 is, the power is already excessive for normal street driving. The wonderful sexy lines on the F12 is purely sex on wheels.
The TdF is pretty much putting on lipstick on the Mona Lisa.
p.s. Aaron, you will appreciate this, I went from Village gate to home in 87 mins. That's including the Lion's Gate bridge and downtown traffic.
I was following this earlier on the highway ! What a site
Unbelievably beautiful , mean , out of this world .... And somehow discreet. The color was also prefect.
This is the most beautiful Ferrari at the moment. Actually probably one of my favorite cars of any available at the moment.
If you are lucky enough to be able to get one , do not hesitate one second. The car looks far far far better in real life then on pics.

Which car are you driving? Already got your hands on one of those 3-cylinder Macan diesels? With yellow stitching, very sporty

I'm really starting to fall for the tdf as well, the specs are just brilliant... I'd have one in a subtle color as well to compensate for the agressive looks.

I brought my 964 to the garage this morning to have an exhaust bypass fitted , and change a few switches. They said the 3 cyl is reserved for GT4 and 718 owners. Only they can appreciate it. They lend me a 991.1 c4s in slow white hoping yellow stitching would make it faster.
BTW : that TDF is out of this world. Makes my RS look like a GT4

crayphile:I agree - you have to see it on the road to really appreciate it - and the sound .
Even the parts around the exhaust look ok in real , at least with this dark blue . I must say , the car looks incredibly good. I would take over anything , ( except maybe 918, LaF , P1 ) and even then it would be a hard choice as the tdf somehow still blends into the traffic while a 918 is impossible to be ' stealth ' .
But , sound ? I could hear nothing I was right behind him for about 10 km . We were driving regularly ( no fast accelerations ) at around 110 , 120 km/h .

He must have been cruising in top gear. Anything over 3 to 3.5K revs and there is no mistaking the V12 opera .

He was cruising , going very smoothly . I have no dough the car screams when needed . And it is actually nice to know the car can be ' quiet ' when driving smoothly . Love the V12 You are very lucky to get one

I never understand those people watching this crazy maneuvers from so close by. How quickly something can get wrong and the car goes with its massive speed and power right into you
