GT3 lettering on the tacho... the rear looks weird for the Speedster....I'm not sure if that thing on the pictures is Speedster... I won't be surprised if it will be some kind of 70th Anniversary GT3 Cabrio...
The Speedster has completely different roof/tent and completely different rear lid deck

That‘s what I found irritating as well, both the rear decklid and roof looked far too similiar to the normal convertible.

Gnil:Looks like a GT3 cab . Nothing like a Speedster . As Whoopsy mentioned, they seem to have drooped the low front shield . Maybe they should now called it something different
Perhaps there will be two new models, Speedster and a highly limited GT3 convertible. I hope so, cause it will be very disappointing if they dropped the Speedster this way

ISUK:Danny Bahaar's (he of Ferrari and Lotus infamy) new venture Ares Design has already built a one off for a customer that previews how such a car could look.
Interesting... He has had his fingers in a few different pies.. I was joking about the Targa really - at least in its current incarnation as a more complex and heavier version of the cabrio. A lighter/stiffer version built in its own right would indeed be quite something. That's a good-looking car, I must say.

steelested:the more I think about it
my money is on
gt3 engine speedster
gt3 engine touring 70th 911
gt3 engine convertible 911 70th
if 1948 Speedsters will be produced, then I don't think the market can accommodate any other special models.
there won't be enough buyers unless the price is low, which we know is impossible.
I think all the pictures are just the Speedster. We will see...

steelested:Could be right and I don’t claim to know, just my guess....
however, the R equaled approx 2 units per strong dealer in the Ik
therefore speedster would only be 4 units so not talking crazy number?
speedster will cost more than R I think.
and there is GT3RS and GT2RS coming, then there is GT4... All these cars come out prior to arrival of 992. That's a lot of new GT cars suddenly.
Even Whoopsy will not buy all of them.
