    Pics in the alps with snow

    Had to take a trip on the other side of the Alps.
    Took some pics.
    Here they are
    Up the Simplon pass on the North side

    Pics are making the wait for the next skivacation look very long... Only a month ago we were in Italy in Breuil-Cervinia wher we had a fantastic skivacation even skiing to switzerland (Zermatt, Ripfelberg, Gornergrat...) Fantastic!

    That explains why Switzerland hasn't been invaded down the years. They just put up signs forbidding Tanks!

    Probably something they started doing after Hannibal crossed the Alps with his elephants.

    That and charging 40 Swiss Franks for a "Vignette" for using the Autobahn.

    Gnil, wonderfull! I think I never saw the simplon, though I have been on the Susten, the Grimsel and the Furka. Pretty impressive scenery. Too bad I didn't see any porsches back then. Your pictures make me miss the alps. Luckily, I'll be visiting them end of this month, but with another point of view...

    Nearly.... it' s on Monte Bré . You seem to know your way really well in this part , but not surprising as Ticino is nearly a German province

    ....and now the speed traps they are installing everywhere. We will finally be able to keep all these foreigners out of the country once and for all

    The mountain on my last pic is a well known spot for Delta, Para glides and Para sails.
