On a more serious note, it is great here. The preconceptions and stories about AG seem to be mostly false. I am sure there are some places were they apply, but it is like that everywhere. The region itself is truly beautiful. Full of lush hills and small lakes. Lots of charming old towns and castles (Aarau, Lenzburg and Bremgarten to name a few). People are much more open and friendly than on the Zürich "Goldcost". I am positively surprised and very very very happy that we moved here.

I am bit disappointed since we moved here. The Subarus seem to have been replaced by tuned BMWs. Even white socks and mullets are things of the past

I have never seen so many Alfa Romeos and Ferraris. This place is infested by them. I assume a lot of 2nd and 3rd generation Italians living here and they keep the tradition to only drive Italian cars Porsches are very rate. Funny how different it is, 20 minutes from Zürich city.

Do we have to trust a magazine that cannot even name the cars correctly:

1st - Porsche 911: Usable, tactile, playful and absorbing to drive. What it lacks in outright pace or visual star quality it more than makes up for on the road

2nd - Aston Martin Vantage: Still more sporting GT than out-and-out sports car, but a wonderful driver’s car all the same. Fast, exciting, enriching and characterful

3rd - McLaren 570S: A proper supercar among lesser mortals. Didn’t excel on wet roads; would amaze on others

The tested car is a 540 or a 570? angry smiley

The GTS is 0.6s slower than the 540. Plus saying the GTS is a better all rounder but fit it with a manual transmission is an oxymoron. The weight difference is puzzling though.

These 3 cars are amazing and people will not cross shop them that much because they are so different. Trying to rank them is stupid. We all know the GTS is the best every day car and has 4 rear seats. That doesn’t make it the best car.

The new 6 seater model? Not sure that 4 real seats would be entirely accurate either. I used to consider the rear seats entirely sufficient, but I am not so sure anymore.
